1924 d is also a semi key I don't think anyone has mentioned so far. if you want to clean in bulk, id recommend putting them in a big tub filled with distilled water. let them sit there for a day or so. rinse them off with water, then soak them in 100% pure acetone for a few hours at a time, occasionally changing the acetone because it will get dirty. as mentioned above, you can pick the dirt out with a thorn or toothpick. I'm no expert, so make sure to test a few coins to make sure you get the results you're looking for.

Let acetone and water be your friends. I am envious.

Thought I'd share my progress so far. Upper half of this picture is indian head pennies, lower half wheat pennies. I now have at least one penny for each year so that's kinda cool. Lower right is the unreadable pile, I'll rinse those in water later to see if I can get a date on them. Hope you all enjoy the pictures! Here I have Shield nickels, Buffalo nickels, a 1946 Canadian nickel, and an 1860's 2 cent coin with a hole drilled in it. In this picture you can see I have found 2 1909 VDB pennies one in beautiful shape, sadly no s mark :( Just breaking the surface still, lots more to go aaaaand a cool coin my mother showed me.

The Trade dollar and locket are one and the same, correct? Quite cool and probably worth a bit more than an ordinary 1877 TD. Is it a picture of a relative?

Man o man if only I could come across a score like that. Do you know how many Rpm's and double dies you probably have.

I have absolutely no idea lol. Right now I'm simply sorting and planned to look over each single year for these types of things one at a time. I'm just afraid I'll miss something like that in the process.

Wow am I jealous! Out of the 4 months I've been collecting, I've found about 25-30 wheats. And you just scored thousands! Good job man!
