mahgobbi Pillar of the Community United States 549 Posts	Posted 01/26/2008 08:31 am My experience has been that I've found several of the semi-keys (early teen s-mints) in large bags of wheats, but I was unable to find the 22-D (not considered a semi-key) until I bought a lot which I knew would contain it. The 31-D is a low mint penny, but I've found a whole bunch of them pretty easily. I'm not sure why that one isn't hoarded like the other low mintage pennies. Thanks! Also, I have come across several 31D's ,one 1909 VDB ( not an S!), and a 1921 in bags of pennies from the bank that I have been going thru. I just picked up a 1911S and I would have thought that it would have been a Key date?, but I guess it is on account of the mintage. i was also surprised that some of the other Lincolns I have are also Semi-key Report this Post to the Staff
