So I was on ebay, trying to see if I could find a nice 1845 O Seated dime for fairly cheap. Stumbled upon this listing first: 262173993830

Did some more checking around and looked at sold listings, and then saw this: 231759076721


Same dime. I assume trying to resell and make a profit? Same pics used too...

Probably trying to make a profit. But on a coin that bad? Probably the same seller with two different (or more ) user names. Making it look like it was a deal on the first round to lure other buyers in.

It's called flipping (like people flip houses).

The OP may well have wanted the holed 1887 for some reason and flipped the one s/he didn't want. Or thought s/he saw an opportunity to make a buck splitting the lot.

But I think it's on the up&up - feedback from the original seller, EXOCOIN appears in the OPs history.
