I'm surprised my offer was accepted, I paid $40 for this. PCGS price guide is $60. 331769807465Been looking for one of these. I think I'll keep it in the slab.

No carbon spots. It's very attractive for what it is.

The PCGS price is usually on the high side.
$40 seems to be about an average price for the grade, with a couple examples selling for $25.

One I saw that sold for $24 or $25 had some spotting going on, obverse issues, don't think it was a 64RD IMO, more toward the 63 range hence the reason why it sold so low.

Quote: what'd be a good offer? $250-$275 would be a decent price.

Yeah I'm not sure on a price but certainly much lower than they are asking. I was thinking more like $200-225 but I don't know if they'd go that low or not but might be worth a shot. I think 31-S is a semi key?

31S is a key date.
What should I do with this 1935 S? Should I crack it out and put it in my Dansco, or leave it separate? I just don't know.

I have never had the heart to crack any of my slabs yet. I figure if I ever do then there is no going back. Keep it in the slab until you are sure of what you want to do with the coin.

I cracked open every coin I bought. I am not going to enjoy the slabs.

Buy another one that isn't slabbed and have 2 sets.
