Kosovo Currency In 1993 - Coin Community Forum

MinneCoin New Member United States 21 Posts	Posted 04/22/2016 10:10 pm Hey folks. As of 1993, was Kosovo using the Serbian dinar? I know in 1999 they were when they switched to the mark. Debating if I should include Kosovo in my 1993 album, and what to use for the currency. The Republic of Kosova was only recognized by Albania at the time, so I don't know... augsburger Pillar of the Community Germany 1064 Posts	Posted 04/24/2016 06:13 am Kosovo wasn't a country then and didn't issue its own currency, and still doesn't, yes it used the Serbian Dinar. So It's not worth adding it as a country in my opinion. Report this Post to the Staff

I figured that might be the case, but in a lot of these situations you sometimes run across provisional issues from the bajilllion different entities involved in hostilities.
