Good afternoon this is the first time posting in the older coin section I have found a 1798 large cent that seems to be a clipped planchet the coins is in rough shape would this bring any extra value to it being so worn ?

Clip is legitimate. Type 1 hair, small 8, Junction of hair and forehead is to right of the T. Looks like S-158, 159 or 164. Hard to tell on a coin that is rough, shot at an angle. and posted sideways.

Does this hold any kind of value being in the condition that it is in?

It's hard to say in the condition. I think I see the blaksley effect at the opposite end, but hard to say
