The reverse has a couple of holder scratches showing at the top and the white line through the D in dime.

also, looks like an upward sloping date w/ a partial "S"
the only obverse die on the issue that had the date like that makes this an Awash-1

variety!

The mottled toning could drop it a point on eye appeal although I like it. . MS63

When I look at this coin in hand, it looks better than MS62. In the MS62 grade this is the only 1883 dime to be stickered by CAC.

Bit disappointing for sure. Of course, we can't really see the surfaces beneath the toning. Anyway, nice coin.
