Newest addition to my Capped Bust family. Nice gray toning and good looking rims for the grade. What do you think?

I also wanted to add that in my opinion I thought NGC may have been a tad conservative with their grade.

VG10 and although I cannot offer two guesses I will say F12 would not surprise me

That reminds me a lot of mine - love those large diameter bust quarters. It's the only one I own...

I would call this one a VG-8

This one I don't think technically makes F-12. VG-11.5, however the eye appeal, IMO, pushes it to a TPG F-12. Very nice coin!

The reverse is a full F12, the obverse a little less strong and VG10.
I would guess NGC graded it VG10.

And I should add: that is a very nice quarter with the appearance I like.

Tough call here since the obverse looks weaker to me and VG8 or so. The reverse has claims to F12 so I'll split the difference and say VG10.

I'd say VG-8. The obverse is pretty flat although the reverse is better. The color is just what it should be for an old, circulated silver coin.

Close one, but I lean toward F-12.

So here is the grade...I thought VG 8 was a little low on this one but a few of you guessed it so I guess it's about right.
