Just checking around, seeing if anyone has collected or is collecting Jefferson nickel Proofs. I began a collection, but I sort of abandoned it haha. I never completed it but everything I acquired was PCGS certified.

I only collect them in my Jefferson with Proofs Dansco and those have been taken from OGP's.
Ive purchased a couple odd & end Proofs individually from coin shops, but that's the jist of mine.

Like eaglefoot, I collect Jeff proofs in my Dansco. I also stash at least one Mint Proof Set annually.

Nice slabbed nickels!

Thank you all. I am going to be selling them, I don't see myself finishing the collection. I already have way too much going haha. Celtic- I have been wanting to collect the proof sets, so far all I have is a '64 and a '54 lol.

Nice start to a slab set

I am like the others posted, I have proofs in my Dansco's.

I do pick up slabbed ones when I find them at a good price.

Oh ... And like others .. I have a bunch of proof sets.

Almost forgot .. Have some in a Capitol coin holder, in that
I have 1954 through 1964.

And I am sure I have a few rolls of proofs, I do remember a full
roll of 1961 proofs.

I do have to say I never seriously collected them .. Just ended up with them.

I hear ya! Mine was an idea I had one day when I was bored...dangerous ideas happen when I am bored. I ended up with a book of Jefferson nickels (38-78) and decided why not proofs...then I lost interest in them lol. I put em up for sale, hopefully they will go so I can get some other stuff.
Rest in Peace

I've got a very nice Jefferson nickel collection thanks to a wonderful CCF member. Almost embarrassed to mention it, I didn't do the fun part.

nice collection chris! I kind of "hoard" Jefferson nickel proofs. I've bought quite a few over the years and have a lot of duplicates. I pick them up whenever I see them under a dollar unless they are 1964 or earlier, than I'm willing to pay a bit more.
