1974 Washington Quarter Transitional Error?

i pulled a quarter out of the reject slot at the bank today. Looking at the edge I thought I had a silver quarter on my hands, but the date says 1974. It looks almost like a proof or silver clad quarter but it's a p mint ruling out that is proof and a I know there were no 40% quarters struck besides bicentennials. Are there any 40% silver clad transitional errors for quarters or mintmarkless proofs for '74? What do I have here?

Anyone can speculate what it might or might not be but only you can figure it out by weighing it- that will give you a definitive answer.

If I blow-up oddwashedge.jpg, I can see what looks like the clad layers. It might just be in my head.
