Has anyone ordered COINS from the mint lately? I ordered something on the 22nd of Feb. and they still haven't processed the order! I called them and told them normally it processes and ships out with in a few days. The response I got was we switched Internet servers so its taking longer to process orders? Anyone else with this problem?

My order on the 14th of Feb. went from in process to on hold. The status went from backordered to in stock and reserved. The supposed ship date at the time was 3/1/08 So I too am in a wait and see position.  Your order request has been canceled. line was canceled. not happy at all! Edited by COINAHOLIC

I've waited 4-6 weeks on things in the past and been on "processing" for awhile and "ship hold-in stock" for awhile........all of the above ! About the time I start out as to whether or not there's a problem with my order or lost in the mail or something....and decide to "almost" call them.......my order arrives........ that's been my experience with the Mint !

I ordered mine on 1/24/08 and still haven't received my order, all items say in stock and reserved but they have been saying that for awhile now

I ordered some stuff on 1/31 and have yet to receive anything. It says that it shipped most of the stuff on 2/28, but not all of it, and I have yet to receive anything.

UPDATE: My stuff came today!! Boy those proofs are shiny!!

My item was just delivered yesterday. The fulfillment center was closed because of damage to their roof from the tornados that hit Tenn. I would think everyone that has ordered items will receive them in the next few weeks.

We are having trouble as well, they claimed to have shipped order before the storm then when we called they said it was delayed because of the storm  Needless to say I am not happy with it either  |

Funny, I just noticed that although I received my order (everything that was shipped anyway) on the 4th, the charge on my debit card wasn't posted until yesterday. But, I guess one week late is good enough for government work... I am still waiting on my 'instock and reserved' '07 UNC ASE though. quote:

It was a bald eagle dollar in proof. I ordered it at the reduced issue price but they said line canceled. I had one on order from a dealer in Southern California which I did receive, but had to pay a small premium on top of issue price. Not that I mind, the man has to make money, he has a business to run. I just wish that when you order from the U.S. Mint that the sales were final at time of checkout, not at their discretion to fulfill and ship!!

I ordered a bald eagle coin in the middle of Feb. and it just got here last Thursday. That's good enough for government work. I let myself get spoiled by good service and UPS shipping from those online dealers.
