First let me say this is an awesome site for any coin collector...very knowledgeable people on here...this is a 2006 dime error..just not sure what it would be classified as?

That is a broken or split die. See how the I in LIBERTY has separated? Very nice find!

 Looks retained to me. Not seeing any die parts missing at his point. Awesome set of intersecting die cracks. Thanks, Doug.

Yes I think so Cheifbrody, I just reread the rules (top right of page). I apologize for talking about about ebay with you, I think you have to have a certain amount of posts before you can do that.
