Somebody really didn't like Victoria. I mean, how does four deep scratches on a brand new coin happen except deliberately with a knife?

What's a quintuple hanging 9? .. never heard of anything like that. I DO save all the full or R/E stems at 8.

I think he means the 5 scratches above the 9 look like die clash marks on small cents.....

Okie..Die clash that shows around the 9 is now called a "hanging 9"..

They show examples often here in many of the large and small cents..

everything is getting hanged....when it comes to die clash around the dates..
