Hi all, I know nothing about Morgans, but I came across this as part of a lot of ebay. I'd like to get an opinion on a grade before bidding. Probably not a great cherrypicking candidate, but the seller's six year run of O Morgans ran from 1898-1904, skipping 1903 O.

Lack of luster has it looking XF40 but the devices look 45.

Looks like a strong 50 maybe 53 to me.

Thanks for the opinions, everyone! Modern coins are more my forte. I had it at 40 based on photograde. I did notice that they're going for almost $2000 in AU58.

That said, what do you guys think is a good bid? It doesn't look cleaned or damaged to me, so I'd expect a straight grade from a TPG if I went that route.

Well under $100. This coin is not valuable enough in XF condition to even consider TPG. Based on the images I would not bid over $60.

Thanks BH. It was this coin plus a common date Morgan at under forty last night when I posted. Up past 60 now due to a shill bidder. 96% of your bids with this one seller? Get out of here! I'm a noob to ebay, but I'm not playing that game. I was hoping to get them both for 50ish, flip the 1884S, then get a freebie out of it. Oh well. Since I'm not planning on bidding, I don't mind sharing the link with anyone interested.
