Even with all those pictures, I still feel like I can't get a good look at the coin. Also to CCF!

Cleaned and polished. I don't see how that much wear would exist without any dirt in the letters.

Could probably use it as a mirror to signal an airplane in a survival situation. ;)

Unfortunately, I must agree to what he says. Very harshly cleaned, perhaps whizzed.

I have an identical question on a Morgan I bought today, would it be okay to add to this topic or should I start a new one?

I think starting a new topic would be best.

Unfortunately, that was not the answer of was looking for, however, I appreciate everyone's help on my obviously highly cleaned coin. So what to do with a coin like this? Any suggestions? I'm not real sure what dipped or whizzed is, can someone enlighten me?

Wizzed - a coin that has been cleaned with a mechanical process, for example buffed with high speed drill.
Dipped - the coin has been placed in a chemical solution to removed tarnish / toning.
There was a dealer who sold circulated junk common date Morgan's that were dipped and polished then sold as fun coins to be given to kids as a gift.
