1972 DDO Lincoln Cent?

Found what looks to be a 1972 DDO penny. Looking over the versions listed on Wexler's, it appears to be the last variety listed on this link http://doubleddie.com/384301.html

This is called Master Die Doubling. It's very common and has no extra value. But, if you like, you can keep it as a example and compare it to other coins. :)

E &V you got it. This was a master hub problem. shows up on many of the working dies, since it is so common, it isn't considered a DDO. I tell by two points, the upper inside of B in LIBERTY and the upper left corner in E of WE.

Wow, that's a monster of an obverse rim. Mayhaps there be some rim-finning and folding going on?

Good eye. The description explains the Master Die doubling that most have mentioned above. This means it transferred to all the Working Dies created from this Master Die and makes it common for 1972.

Something seems to be going on with the rim. Maybe a high pressure strike or wide collar issue. Thanks, Doug.
