I won a bag of 2500 1950s Denver wheat cents at an auction today and have been going through them. So far I've found a 1955-D DDO FS-101, a 1954-D D/D/D RPM-001, and a 1951-D D/D RPM-002 and I haven't gone through half of them yet. I need confirmation for what I believe is a 1956 D&D South RPM-018 that is too worn to see the tiny die markers. This is incredibly difficult to photograph and this might be the best picture I'm going to get of it.

Tanman, think so, given the MM took a hit and smashed the bar...Nice catch on the ghost bar!

There is an evident of separation to the south, but can not be certain without a brighter close up shot.Below is a pic. from a WRPM-18 , RPM-18( by Brian Ribar)

Posted another pic above. The problem with my microscope is that when I try to take closeups of this it becomes virtually invisible unless it's at a ridiculous angle. It's frustrating since I can see it really well with a magnifying glass.

Looks great - hope that bag of Wheaties gets you LOTS of good finds.
I am going to have to get some Wheat cents again - my eyes are getting too tired having to look at all these shiny new ones. I first started this hobby with a bag of 5000 Wheats. That was huge for me and I told myself I would never want to look at another Wheat cent again - now I miss them. Have Fun!!
