I was given some Lincoln Penny collecting books as a kid, and enjoyed trading in rolls of circulated pennies at the bank a few times a month looking for ones to add in. Over the years, my father mentioned the change in silver content in 1965 for US coins, so I started watching for those too. I recently started actually LOOKING at what I'd gathered, and am now slowly starting to determine if anything is of value. It appears I DID get a few goodies. I plan to join a local coin club for advice, and post here as well. I've never sold any coins, so this is all new to me. I may even hold them and pass them on. |
