Someone else will need to provide more information. Sicily was one of the locations where tiny coins were minted. Also the reverse looks like a Fish Eagle which appears on lots of Sicilian coins. t501tx New Member United States 26 Posts	Posted 11/02/2017 3:04 pm The first letter is Gamma, the second appears to be an I or maybe an A, and the third letter is perhaps a T. I pretty much went through all the coins on the Asia Minor site, with no luck. Report this Post to the Staff
pendrak Valued Member United States 253 Posts	Posted 11/03/2017 8:24 pm I still think it might be from Sicily because of the Sea Eagle. I don't think it is a dove because of the beak. Where is Bob L? I think because of the size, the dies may not have been in the best condition and it is probably not GAT. Hard to tell who is on the obverse because a possible beard is not showing. My best guess would be an unlisted Akragas bronze fraction from 400BC or so. Hopefully you will get more help from the Greek experts on this forum. Report this Post to the Staff
