hello, new to this forum from Montreal, Canada.
i got a few US notes from my grand-dad estate. This misaligned $2 bill seems interesting, looks also some ink issue on top and below Jefferson. Seems mint and uncirculated to my rookie eyes. Any one can tell me if rare and if has some value

Nice bill, but such a minor misalignment does not add any value.

The 53C Deuce you have has poor centering and uneven margins which marginally affects the great eye appeal of the lip-stick red seal and serial numbers. I love love love the back design of this note, one of my favorites.

In order for it to be considered an error note, some of the design would have to be missing. The ink smudges could have happened anywhere -- but even if they happened at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, it doesn't add any value.

It IS in very nice shape and worth more than face value -- but probably not big money,
