Mmmmm ... I've got lots of 100+ years old chairs. Should I go ahead and take them apart? Anyway, the guy deserves what's coming to him. All he had to do was look at what a real coin looked like and compare it to his. Instead, he just disses the people trying to tell him it's a fake.

Vaguely remember a similar controversy a few years back. Even more vaguely seem to remember it was the same ebay ID. Certainly the seller had a similar reaction to being told it was a fake. ebay ended the transaction in that case as well. Possibly the same coin trying again after the previous controversy died down?

Dang, I bought a leather office chair at a thrift store about 15 years ago. While cleaning it after bringing it home, I found a twoonie, 2 loonies, and a $1.55 in post-1975 nickel coinage. What, no 1921's ! But I did come out ahead by 55 cents.

Thought I would keep the ball rolling and added my 5 cents
to the thread.
Doesn't look like he is getting much support though.

he keeps trying to get support from others without telling both sides of the story trying to keep his "good" reputation when in fact everytime he comments he destroys it a bit more

I wonder who "flint.cda" is on the ebay forums ... they obviously know who some of us are... (in a nice way).

Jimmy .. You and Roger are confusing yourself or playing word games. You have been talking to Roger P. Flint.cda lives in the Golden Triangle on the Western edge on L Ontario and has white hair(so grey that it's white) ... you know both of us.

JimmyD... next time, try clicking on the little ebay logo in everyone's CCF posts...

That user, "flint.cda", is most definitely not me. My ebay name is pretty unique...

If you go to your user profile page there's a field to enter your ebay ID. Then the post link will appear.
