I haven't looked into the prices on these because I haven't gotten that far in my collection yet. But if I would have to guess, a Three Cent Silver piece like that in that type of condition, 30 dollars would seem like the going price for such a coin. Not bad. EDIT : Thats selling for 75 dollars online The local coin dealer at the store said Three Cent pieces were only minted because at the time that was the price of stamps. 3 cents apiece. He also said thats the only reason why 3 dollar gold pieces were minted as well, because that would buy you a book of 100 stamps. Man I want one.
