1971 D Kh - DDD Or DDD?

99.9% Die Deterioration. .1% very minor DDO as evidenced by the notch on the left serif of the cross bar of the T on TRUST.

On a coin not quite this beat, you would also see a notch on the upper right portion of the S on TRUST.

One of the more common DDOs but there is evidence that this coin is one of them.

These are so common that I throw them back:-)

I would be with Die Deterioration only on this one. I don't see anything doubled.

Hi All,

I cropped out the ST of TRUST from the picture above and added arrows to show the minor notching. It is a doubled die but it is extremely minor.

As I suggested, Die Deterioration and probably the most minor DDO known in the series.
