hi, just found this today in a box of cent,its a 1994 Lincoln Cent missing the copper layer, I dont know if its a real cent missing some of its coating. was a cool find anyways.

Look interesting, but I've never seen a missing plating with a straight line on it before?

@coop, rather than being partly plated, is it possible that the plating was partly stripped off of this coin (e.g. PMD)?

That's interesting . If it were in a straight line on both sides (and they aligned), I would be suspicious of it being dipped in something to remove the copper plating.

I really don't know how to authenticate it.

Instead of looking at it with the copper missing,look at it with something on top of the copper
Weight? Normal is 2.5 grams +/- .13
