Hey everyone,

Please see the images below of a 1944 Lincoln Penny I found. Are these simple deformations due to post-minting damage, or are these true mint errors?

This is not a Mint error. It's Post Mint Damage most likely caused by a Coin Wrapping Machine or a vending machine. You can see how the metal is pushed up and got moved over.

my first impression is PMD.
the B in Liberty does look like a die chip - would need a closer pic to say for sure

Looks like you got a little of both: a die chip (broken pin in die), but plenty of PMD.
