I see a rim Cud,ddd, and MD, but what is the error on the obverse rim called? And any others you can spot. Thank you Report this Post to the Staff

That's a Cud (Major Die Break) from a piece of metal breaking off of the die. The other stuff you see like the roughness on the surface, that's just a plating issue from contaminates getting on the planchet or in the Copper plating solution. Errers and Varietys.
