Was looking for doubling when I came across this. It looked like the devices were incused.

I knew it was the lighting so I switched angles and ...voila.

This is a concept that I've heard for maps, but not for coins. Find some sort of map that has a plateau which is shaded to look like it is extruding fromthe ground. Then, flip the map over. It'll look like you have a crater simply because the shadow is on the opposite side.

The first image still looks incuse to me. I can't get to look correct, even knowing it is correct.
