Hi Guys,
I found these 2 Jefferson nickel off center a while back in a seal US Mint bag "together inside one bag". As I went through my collection and took it out to take a look at it. I was surprise that these 2 coins somehow connected when I tried to put it together like a puzzle. I wonder if there is such a thing of this type of error? Or is it just a coincident? Thanks everyone.

Was the year of all the nickels the same year and mint mark? Check around on the bay and see if you can complete it lol that's awesome though.

So close, I want to give it the benefit of the doubt. Is that a second strike on the one? Thanks, Doug.

Thanks everyone for the great comment. @Coppergold I believe the year was 2000 or 2001, I will try to complete it lol, but it really tough to find the remaining pieces if there is one lol.
@Halo yes there was a little second strike on one of those.

Interesting but just a coincidence. It isn't a bonded pair, or a chain strike, so it is simply two off-center strikes that happen to just about match up.

Very nice and awesome finds! It's not a bonded pair, but it's just a huge coincidence. Still very cool though.

Wait a second. I can see a second Off-Center Strike on the first Nickel. It's was Double Struck. See that small struck edge?

If this were a M&B pair, it would be worth at least 4 figures.

Still a remarkable find, congrats!

@Moxking Thank you for the congrats.
@E&R Thank you, and yes one of those did have the second strike but it's a tiny one.
@Fioti I don't know but I have a strong feeling that there's something wrong with this, not just a coincidence. I found these two in the same bag and I believed it was struck at the same time. I used to work at AT Armored Transport, and we do get the Mint bag directly from the Mint so we can process and give to the banks for circulation.

I like it ... a LOT.
And I'd go with a simultaneous "out of collar" strike.
If it were mine I'd try and get the opinion of an error specialist.
If his opinion is somewhat similar to mine I'd contact to PCGS or NGC and see if it could be slabbed with BOTH pieces in the same slab.
If so, send it in.

@Kanga Thank you very much for your advice. I will looking into that matter. And I would love to have both of them on the same slabbed with a title "Simultaneous out of collar strike" which I also believed in.
