It looks like a token, it does not indicate any denominational value on it.

It looks to me like a 19th century game counter used by players in card games (in a similar fashion to today's chips).

In terms of value, do a search on ebay for "game counter" in the Coins section, you'll see a range of prices for these types of pieces - maybe you'll see a matching example to yours.
