@cgk, first welcome to CCF. Second, unless your medal is made from silver, it may have mostly only sentimental value. Is there anything on the other side that might indicate silver content (e.g. a 925 stamp)?

Ok well other than the obvious fact that it is a St. christopher medal, I'm not sure how much we can help. There are a bazillion places that make them and mostly out of non-silver alloys. You could go to a local pawn shop and have them check for silver content, but I wouldn't hold my breath. As I said before it really probably only has sentimental value.
