63 Aluminum Or Zinc Penny - Coin Community Forum

tnmachine New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 11/12/2018 8:15 pm I have a 1963 penny that the copper coating is coming off in spots it looks to be either aluminum or zinc underneath, I could understand this if it was a 1983 but a 63 should be 95% copper.
