a pre 1968 silver Canada dollar, has .6 of an ounce. so 2 coins would be 1.2 ounce silver.

Those Silver Dollars if circulated are only worth bullion which works out
to $80.25 so it seems a little high.

That's $18.50 US an oz, so that's not bad. See if he'll toss in another one and that makes it $16.66 per oz.
