If you find the right people, I am certain it is worth way more than face value!

Some people, especially Chinese like 8s because they sound auspicious. Wouldn't hurt to try your luck.

Haha, I got this note in Australia. I flew to Australia to visit some friends. There are only 6 digits on the old $20 bill. Is 000888 seen as a low serial number#65311;

It would probably be a keeper in the US, not sure about Canada.

The lowest I have ever found is 000xxx but I didn't think it was low enough to keep.
The solid 8s might make it saleable as others have mentioned.
