Don't pay to have it graded .. sell it raw if you can, but it's a scarce coin.. I think that it's AU with just the start of some environmental growth on the Reverse. It "Trends" for $700 Canadian, which is about $525 US ... but that full-blown retail. If you send it in the be graded and cert'd, they may body-bag it and you'll be out some hefty bucks just in the mailing. You should be able to get $350 US for it without too much effort, but get 2 or more bidders and who knows!

I have been collecting the NB and NFLD 20 cent coins as well as NFLD 50 cent around 1900. Pretty nice looking coins with decently low mintages. A Half Cent would be nice to add to the collection....
