Picked this up for $305. Thoughts on grade and problems? Thanks!

PR64, looks original to me, obv has a slight cameo. I wouldn't mind owning this one even if it did come back with questionable color, but I think it's natural toning.

Might make PR-65 because of eye appeal.

PF64 obverse eye appeal might pull it up a grade to 65

I purchased this coin from Rick Snow. He describes it as follows: "Proof (12: 3,4,5). Beautiful toning from an album. Nickel usually doesn't tone like this unless dipped prior to putting in the album. No hairlines."

In spite of the designation, I liked the coin, the price was right and I bought it.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I like it too, especially if the price was right. Congrats.

That's a beautiful coin regardless of PCGS's opinion. I would be proud to show it off anytime! Congrats!

PCGS speaks with a forked tongue. They say dipping isn't cleaning, but toning after dipping is questionable. If you like the coin, who cares what PCGS thinks of it?
