I hope the coin looks better in hand . Most of rims obverse and reverse are non existent . LIBERTY is weak , Horn is very weak . VF-20 .

I assume the missing rim is underneath a bit of cardboard in the holder. Otherwise, all bets off.

Bruce , would you pay $140 for this coin assuming he bought it this way with the rims covered by an undersize 2x2 . And I'll add , if NS put it in a 2x2 , wouldn't he have wanted to show it to us in the best way possible ?

Cropped photos could be hiding something on the edges.

This came in. The center of the obverse is weakly struck. The coin retains a lot of luster and the horn is all there. Thoughts? Thanks!

The coin is original, soft strike vf30. For the price you paid, I would like the coin at a solid vf35 with a better strike.
