I'd say 63 at best.

I am new and really don't know anything about Vams but is that a dye crack by the 4 stars on the left obverse? Or is it just a scratch?

It is in fact a small die crack however, it was the crack through the mint mark that lead me to the VAM number...http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.c...904-O_VAM-36
I agree with MS63 at best.

MS-62. Eye Appeal 5/10. Typical baggy example.

I.

Does that VAM add any value to the coin?

IMHO, the gouges on Liberty's nose, cheek, and neck and the contact marks in the obverse field beneath the chin and behind the head are at a 63 level, but the rim damage at 4 o'clock on the obverse and 1 o'clock on the reverse drop it to a 62. There isn't much difference in value between a 62 and 63 for an '04-O, however.
Rest in Peace

Not really. There are no less than a dozen examples in the SSDC registry with examples graded as high as MS65. It's more just a cool factor for collectors that enjoy coins struck from cracked dies...

average strike for this year. a little too scuffed up for me but may slide in at MS63. wouldn't pay 63 money for it though. Maybe $50 range so its overpriced as it sits
