I have heard they do exist, in round a round bust (versus pointed for the 64). I know someone who has one, seen it with my own eyes. It was slabbed a while ago, but not as an L. I am going to see if I can get that issue. Someone else just told me about they saw it in a recent issue of something. I will post what I can find. Report this Post to the Staff

You might be referring to the 1863 PT3 with L on Ribbon, although it has a narrow bust point. It shares the same reverse Die as does the 1864. Report this Post to the Staff
