Sorry I know its not strictly Australian but we didn't have our own coins back then. I was wondering what your thoughts were on the grade for this coin. The coin was mounted onto the broach which I believe has left marks on the rim and possible obverse (however could possibly be toning), would this affect the grading?

Thank you very much!

Coin appears to have been plated ?
Basically its a "no grade" based on the pics.

yes it would be denote as EX mounted, if as echidna has said that its plated it would more then likely comeback in a flip (small bag).

The coin looks EF or better to me but unfortunately mounted and plated.
