Hello! I need help from yall folks on grading this here 1818 O-106 Capped Bust half dollar. I bought this from a dealer I'm hoping is honorable....they said VF+.
for the time being dont look at the center of this coin block out these areas and heres what I see. the high points on this coin like the stars, date, rims, reverse lettering, front of the drape and even the breasts for me put the coin in the XF range for sharpness. obviously the weak strike in the center of both sides are going to affect the grade on this one. how many is hard to say. I'm going with 2 points with a final net grade of VF30. if it had a cleaning it was a long time ago and the coin would grade straight imo
