Looks more like to me a struck through copper debris. Usually a lamination is in a straight line. Debris issue are not in a specific direction. The difference? Lamination issues loose planchet metal. Debris adds metal to the coin. So the weight can be affected. (But figuring in coin wear, makes it a guessing game for weight issues)

It does look a bit like a folded over Rim Fin, but that would have been pretty tall. An interesting find either way--well done.
