The copper/nickel clad layers and the pure copper core are pressed together and rolled to the proper thickness. This can sometimes leave lines like this. The very light fin might be caused by MD on a tilted die issue during the strike. Small die chips. But all together, pretty much a spendable coin, unless you want to save it for an educational coin to share with a new collector. (This coin would cover several subjects, but no real premium for it.
