Need much better photos, and I doubt there is an error or variety on this coin.

Why do you think this is an error coin?

Ah okay I see what you mean.

Sadly that isn't anything special, just environmental toning. When coins spend time out in the elements, they tend to form dark yellowish, brown, or even blue colors on the plating. There are examples of more severe toning, where the coin has large amounts of the color spectrum on it.

However, as mentioned, this coin is nothing special. Just worth one cent.

Makes sense, it takes quite a long time to absorb all this information that you'll come to know with coin collecting.

Environmental tarnishing/staining. Not a mint error, PMD. Value: 1 cent.

to the CCF!

p.s. work on cropping your photos, pull in to the coin's edge.

It all takes practice.

Remember; if you can't see the coin clearly in the picture, we can't see the coin clearly in the picture.

Copper is there, it is stained. If it were missing, then it would be gray in color.
