Skateboarding since before I could walk. Best trick currently is 360 flip.. I build computers and take apart tech to tinker with / see how it works. I am really interested in computers hardware and software sides. Gaming console phones development boards pretty much collect any tech I get my hands on! The free-er the better! Just picked up metal detecting as well.
& My lady and I garden. Currently a large crop of potatoes growing I expect to yield 50 or so.

Thanks. It seems most tool collectors do not mind restoration unless its a really rare piece. I love the looks of the wood handles with metal tools...but they were impractical. Many of the handles loosened up or caused gaps b/c metal and wood expand, contract and wear at different rates.

The huge C-clamp was a design error from the company. The length of the bolt meant anything trying to be clamped made the bolt shift sideways and bend. I had a friend use a 20 ton press to straighten the bolt out from its many bends.

Awesome stuff here.

For me: too many hobbies; paycheck too small; day not long enough.

Guitar, LEGO, woodworking, stamps, baseball cards, Hard Rock Pins, cycling...I'm sure I'm forgetting a few.

My main hobbies outside of coin collecting are fly fishing, book collecting/scouting (really looking forward to getting back to doing this again in a few weeks now that I've had my first vaccine dose), rock hounding, amateur paleontology, and my research in discrete math and algorithms.

One of my better scouting finds: Picasso and The Human Comedy with original lithographs by Picasso - value ~$2000 (paid $20 at a library sale).

Beyond coin collecting, I run a few social media accounts to test viral marketing strategies (YouTube channels and Facebook pages mostly), I volunteer to fulfill photoshop requests, I am a Google Local Guide (which involves updating the google maps and business listings with accurate information), and I enjoy playing the guitar and ukulele.

I love computer programming (mainly websites), linguistics, conlanging (creating languages), music production, and some more which I'm too self conscious to share :)
