I'm still trying to learn the difference between a Machine Doubling and a DD. Is this 1966 Kennedy half dollar a DDO?

Appears to be an excellent example of machine doubling--flat, shelf-like appearance.

Note that none of the serifs are split and the letters aren't thickened.

While it may not be a DDO, that is a cool looking coin! I'd keep it

if it was, it all should match one of them.

Machine Doubling is very common. The strike was altered after it happened, damaging the devices on that area.
