Only significant error in the $100 of quarters I just searched. Also found a couple minor Homestead DDRs as well as an S-minted NIFC business strike (not an error or variety, but nice to find).

Nice error! I really like this!

I had a North Carolina State Quarter a lot like it that I posted a couple of years ago. Here's the post with that coin, if you want to take a look. http://goccf.com/t/359805

@yokozuna I was literally just looking at your coin from the post you made on r/coins when you found it! I was looking up some info on bifacial grease strikes since I wanted to document it correctly on the flip and just happened to stumble onto your post. Yours is a gorgeous example, and I was just jealously thinking that I like the way half of Washington's head is missing on yours and wishing mine had that too lol

@Halo1st didn't bother weighing it since the rims are very well defined and the weakness is not at the center of the design, indicating that this is a bifacial grease strike rather than a thin planchet or low pressure strike.

Sam, is nice.

Me like the "Thomas", I say: grease like grease (even from 1998 they use liquid grease). I look at the original and take the different levels of design.

I question if we not have to make the face with a coin which show an miss adjustment of the anvil and hammer? I see also some strange parallels lines on the coin, which was not suppose to be.

Personally I will take the weight and the thickness of the midle and the rims.

Very nice interesting coin.
