Had this dropped off to me at work wondering how far off rotation it really is?(not much I know....) and if rotated dies are common for this proof date? And if anyone else loves finding proofs in pocket change always brightens my day

Nice Proof find in pocket change. I'm guessing maybe around 8 degrees + or - of rotation based off of your pics. I love finding Proofs in the wild. As minor as this is, I don't think it would bring a premium. But still a nice example.

Make sure to flatten those staples. When posting a rotated die,it works best using the mirror method.

Using a mirror is a better aid:

This is normal rotation for U.S. coins.
A rotated coin will look like this:

Nice job finding a proof in pocket change! I haven't been able to do that yet, although I have pulled a couple of silver dimes over time, and a war nickel+2020-W quarter in the same change!

Note on the images with the mirror, Bats used square to hold the 2X2 near a mirror?

Great find there. You should flatten out those staples so you won't scratch other coins if you stack the 2x2's
