So bought a small bag of coins from a friend for a bit over $40.
Got a bunch of newer coins. But did snag a handful of 80's thru 70's pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters.
For pennies I got the following: 1944 Wheat penny Two 1951 wheat pennies 1959 penny Four 1964 pennies 1966 penny 1967 penny Two 1968 pennies Four 1969 pennies 1961 nickel Three 1964 nickels One 1967 nickle 1966 dime 1967 dime 1968 dime
And two of those 2009 special Lincoln pennies. One with him sitting on a log and the other of him with the capital.
Two that I didn't have yet.
And for a newer quarter I did get one of the Hawaiian Volcanoes.
Of course what I don't want I can spend. So no money lost.
Nice pickup ; Does your friend accept returns ? Sorry but I have to call it how I see it . It might be a good idea if you brush up on your prices of common modern coins especially if they are circulated . Just looking out .
