Place a piece of white paper between your light and the coin, or use daylight to photograph from. I don't see any errors on your cent, but you have a nice coin! Report this Post to the Staff
Bumpkin Pillar of the Community United States 509 Posts	Posted 11/21/2021 02:02 am Your 1968-D looks very nice but I am not seeing any doubling. The biggie DD for this year and mint is on the Reverse but once again I do not see your Cent as a DDR. Based on your pictures, I would say this is a Mint State Red example. Please take care of it and do not touch it with your fingers at all or it will quickly start turning a different color. I would suggest a quick pure Acetone dip and then a rinse with distilled water which will remove any of the oils or contaminants from your fingers and then GENTLY PAT it dry with a microfiber towel without wiping or rubbing the coin at all!!!! The obverse around WE is totally normal for this year if you are referring to the E in WE being considerably lower than the W. It's just the way these dies were made. Very nice coin!
