There is a line on running up and down on where the birds waist is on its right side. Below that the first feather nearest leg on end is flat. I have arrowed the areas in question. I also have questions about the mintmark being "clear" and not like a "blob." Is this normal for the mintmark? Report this Post to the Staff

amnight Valued Member United States 332 Posts	Posted 02/10/2022 9:07 pm I believe the reverse is B2K but there are only two listings for this which are VAM-8 and VAM-8a. I don't believe it is either of these VAM varieties. More help is needed please. I see a C3 reverse with broken star for Philadelphia mint, but this is not for the San Francisco mint? EDIT: I now understand that there are 29 varieties with a broken star, unbroken r and doubled Liberty. I added IG as it shows doubling on the O in GOD and something else might be going on with the G in GOD, it looks like it might be broken. Also, thank you very much for your help! The engraved wing feather and mint mark look correct and I see the polishing line on the eagle's right wing. edit to add - excellent close up images..
